ABOUT SAGE LEAF TAHOE

Sage Leaf Tahoe owners Shane and Lara met in 2007 while working at the prestigious Napa Valley Grille in Yountville, in the heart of northern California's famous wine country. Their experience working in the celebrated wine region became the basis for their shared passion for cuisine and authentic hospitality.

After moving to Lake Tahoe in 2011, the couple soon realized it would become their "forever" home. Sage Leaf Tahoe was opened based on the love of family and community and to be an inviting space to meet, socialize and dine in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

 

The name "Sage Leaf" is an homage to the sage plant, a hardy and durable plant that thrives in Tahoe summers and continues to live and grow during winters – much like a Tahoe local. We're serving up innovative breakfast, lunch and dinner Thursday through Monday with friendly service, and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. 


Sage Leaf Tahoe uses local, sustainable, and humanly raised products. We work closely with Tahoe Food Hub and Niman Ranch because of their commitment to family-owned farms and sustainable agriculture.
