
ABOUT SAGE LEAF TAHOE
Sage Leaf Tahoe owners Shane (Sacramento Native) and Lara (Napa Native) met in 2007 while working at the prestigious Napa Valley Grille in Yountville, in the heart of northern California's famous Napa Valley wine country. Their vast experience working and cooking in the celebrated wine region, San Francisco, and East Bay restaurants, became the basis for their shared passion for sublime cuisine, high end wine and authentic top-notch hospitality.

After achieving their dream of moving to Lake Tahoe in 2011, the couple soon realized it would become their "forever" home. Sage Leaf Tahoe was opened based on the love of family and community and to be an inviting space to meet, socialize and dine in beautiful Lake Tahoe.
The name "Sage Leaf" is a homage to the Nevada state sage plant, a hardy and durable plant that thrives in Tahoe summers and continues to live and grow during winters – much like a Tahoe local. We're serving up innovative breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, with friendly elevated service, and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Sage Leaf Tahoe uses local, sustainable, and humanly raised products. We work closely with Niman Ranch and other small purveyors because of their commitment to family-owned farms and sustainable agriculture. Our menus are seasonal as we only utilize the freshest ingredients when creating our innovative dishes and craft cocktails for our patrons.

Our wine list is curated by our Sommelier and Chef/Owner Shane Hammett. Each wine is carefully selected to pair with all of our items on the menu so that your dining experience is heightened, leaving all your taste buds understanding why we do, what we do.
